A MALPAS student wins two top awards for his work on the food industry.

Paul Farmer, of Tilston, who has just graduated from Harper Adams University College, was presented with the chartered institute of marketing food, drink and agriculture prize for the best food and drink dissertation.

Paul spent his placement year with fresh produce company MMUK and it inspired him to complete a dissertation. Paul, who gained a 2:1 BSc (hons) agri-food marketing with business studies, was also presented with the Noble Foods award for the best agri-food student.

Spokeswoman for Harper Adams Janine Heath said: “He consistently demonstrated an interest in the sector during his four years at Harper Adams and has since returned to MMUK in a technical role.”
