An accident on the M56 westbound has caused delays between Junction 14 and 12.
One lane was closed near the Hapsford turn off for the A5117.
The incident happened around 7.20am and the lane reopened around 7.50am. Traffic delays have now cleared in the area.
The M56 eastbound also has slow traffic between Junction 15 and 14, with Inrix traffic reporting drivers are slowing to look at the accident on the westbound side. This delay remains around 8am.
Elsewhere on the motorways there is an accident southbound on the M6 at Junction 19 Knutsford.
Cheshire Police have closed two lanes due to a collision. Congestion is back to the junction with the M56 at the Lymm Interchange.
