Toilet paper spilled by a lorry has caused a blockage on the M6 .
Loo roll was scattered across the motorway southbound near junction 19 at Knutsford at 12.25pm on Wednesday (January 27).
Traffic is moving very slowly with drivers warned to expect delays after Cheshire Police closed the two inside lanes for the clean-up operation, one of which has now reopened.
Congestion has also built up heading north for those heading towards key turnoffs for Northwich and Chester.
Officers said the shed load had not caused any injuries.
