Power cuts have been affecting homes and businesses in Little Sutton , Bache and Upton.
Houses in the CH2 and CH66 postcodes were without electricity in the early hours of Monday (January 4).
Addresses in Bache and Upton lost power at about 5am and reports suggested this issue had been sorted by 9am.
But some home owners said they had been experiencing surges and brief outages ilater in the morning.

SP Energy could not be reached to comment on the cause of the disruption, but a statement on their website said the issue had been resolved.
Alarms were set off in Weatherby Way in Little Sutton after electricity was cut for less than a minute.
