Excellent A Level results were reported by The Whitby High School .

The corridors of the Ellesmere Port school were described as ‘busy’ as Year 13 students celebrated as they collected their results.

The school says that once again its hardworking students have gained excellent results which have opened the routes to move on to the next stage of their lives.

Headteacher Bryn Heeley said: “All the staff rejoice in the success of our students and continue to be extremely proud of the achievements of all our young people.

“Results this year have improved at every grade boundary once again and we are pleased to continue to provide the very best in opportunities for our young people.

“We must not forget, however, that these results reflect the hard work and commitment of students and staff at the school.

After scrutinising their results students were said to be looking forward to continued success as they move onto higher education or employment.
