Some could see bunny rabbits, others dinosaurs but you all captured the beauty of the clouds over Chester and Ellesmere Port on Saturday, March 7.

Often mistaken for UFOs, the lenticular clouds, or altocumulus standing lenticularis, are lens-shaped clouds that form at high altitudes.

Mostly seen near large mountainous areas such as the Himalayas and Rocky Mountains they are a rare phenomenon in the UK.
