KING’S School students from Chester were highly commended at a Model United Nations conference at Cheadle Hulme School.

Delegates Harry Butt, 16, of Waverton, Rory Benson, 17, of Marford, and George Vickers, 17 of Eccleston, were all commended for their work.

Best Young Delegate in the Middle East committee, representing Qatar, was Jack Webber, 15, of Chester, and, in the political committee representing South Africa, was Barnaby Rule, 12, of Eccleston.

Kallum Marsden, 17, of Rossett, was classed as an outstanding delegate in the ethical committee.
