A-LEVEL English literature students from The King’s School had an extra-terrestrial experience when they visited the world famous Globe theatre in London recently.
The students were at the theatre to watch a performance of Doctor Faustus and met actor Arthur Darvill, currently starring as Rory in BBC’s Doctor Who.
They also met Jade Williams, who is performing with Darvill in the critically-acclaimed Marlowe play at the Globe, a replica of the 16th century theatre, where many of William Shakespeare’s plays were performed.
