Children from The King’s School have certainly found the spirit of Christmas.

The junior school concert on Tuesday, December 3 included a musical nativity from Year 1 pupils, a choral solo and a medley of Christmas songs from the older pupils.

Performed at the school’s Vanbrugh Theatre the Year 2-Year 4 pupils performed two songs each, including crowd pleasers Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Winter Wonderland and Jingle Bell Rock. Year 11 pupil Luke Mulholland also sang a beautiful rendition of Howard Blake’s Walking in the Air.

For the finale, all pupils performed I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas.

The concert was attended by Lord Mayor of Chester, Cllr Jill Houlbrook.
