A CAR PRANK performed by Helsby High Sixth Form School leavers was mischievously posted onto popular website YouTube.
Video footage was posted onto the internet site of Year 13 pupils pushing a Mini through the school.
Helsby High staff however, failed to see the funny side. Had the pupils driven rather than pushed the Mini into the sixth form common room they would have been prosecuted.
Headteacher Richard Evans said: 'I was not happy with the joke played because it could have caused a risk to others in the school as it was a health and safety risk.
'Had the car been driven into the school I would have called the police without hesitation, however, as it was pushed in they were told to push it out again.
'It was made very clear to them that I was not happy with their actions.'
Police Inspector Phil Hodgson said: 'I think there needs to be a sense of proportion with regards to this incident.
'Internally is probably the best way to deal with it.
