A KELSALL woman was the winner of a ‘Name the Monkey’ competition organised by a Cheshire-based children’s charity

Childminder Lynda Aldridge, who came up with the name ‘Squiggle’, won The Joshua Tree Charity competition draw at the recent Blakemere Country Fair.

The competition was the latest to be held by the charity, who have so far raised £300,000 towards their target of just under £1m to build a holiday home for sick children and their families.

The home will aim to provide an exciting and stimulating environment.
