KELSALL community centre staged the annual charity indoor bowls tournament.

More than £400 was raised for Sense, the national charity for people who are deaf and blind.

Thirty two participants took part in the competition.

Butcher Wally Dutton, of Duttons of Kelsall, provided food for the lunch and the Co-op donated bread and doughnuts. Tournament organiser Bernard Dart, managed to raise £100 every year of his own accord.

The winners were Edna Fenwick and John Beavan.
