A CLEAN water project is a Kingsley church’s chosen outreach charity for this year.

Every year The Hurst Methodist Church chooses a charity project to raise funds for and awareness of.

Church steward Peter Robinson said: “This year we are supporting Pump Aid, a charity bringing clean water and sanitation to remote African communities using simple technology which is easily manufactured and maintained by local craftsmen.”

The church’s annual charity jumble and book sale will be held on Saturday, February 6, from 1pm at Kingsley Community Centre. Entrance is free.
