THE judge in the trial of Michael Wood and Matthew Ferguson has told the jury he will accept a majority verdict.
Judge David Hale spoke to the jury this morning (Thursday, December 13), telling them they can reach a 10-2 or 11-1 decision if they find it impossible to reach a unanimous verdict.
He did, however, say it was wlways preferable to reach a unanimous verdict whenever possible.
