Members of the Hoole United Reformed Church recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of Bernard Carter as their organist.
Mr Carter and his wife Brenda, now living in Rossett, hail from south Wales and have been valued members of the Hoole church since January 1989.
Bernard was recently presented with a gift from the Revd Liz Thomson, on behalf of the elders and congregation, and a special musically inspired cake was presented to him.
