A man from Hoole in Chester has been charged with an armed robbery at his local Co-op.
Police say a male entered the Co-op in Walker Street, Hoole, at 1.09pm on Tuesday, October 15 where he confronted two members of staff and demanded cash.
Michael Moynihan, 22, from Hoole, was arrested yesterday and has been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon. He is due to appear at Chester Magistrates tomorrow (Friday November 1).
