Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter was on hand at the Grosvenor Shopping Centre this month to offer celebrity selfies for shoppers.

Saturday Style saw crowds of shoppers gather to watch five fashion focused flash dances in the centre showcasing the season’s hottest trends from retailers.

The former Hammond School student and Dancing On Ice contestant cheered on the dancers, who performed to Pharrell’s Happy and other popular tunes.

Julie Webb, Grosvenor Shopping Centre manager, said: “Saturday Style was a great success. Our flash dances have proven to be very popular, not only do shoppers get to see what the latest trends are they get to see some great performances and see the outfits showcased in a quirky way.

“Jorgie went down a storm too she was very friendly and keen to try out the latest trends herself, she was one of the first in line for a Belissimo makeover!”

Staff from Regis were also on hand to style shoppers’ hair for free in centre, whilst Topshop invited fashionistas to sample the latest make-up craze, glittery Bellisimo lipstick.

As part of the event competition winners of the shopping centre’s best friends makeover and photo shoot, Hanna Asanger and Elicia Dyson, both from Chester were thrilled to be treated to a day of pampering.

Hanna said: “We had a really lovely morning being made up and having our hair done. We can’t wait to see the photos, it will be a nice memento of the day. We’re also going out tonight so our new looks won’t be wasted.”

The latest styles from Jigsaw, Dorothy Perkins, Burtons, Anne Summers, Topshop, Topman and Quiz took centre stage during the event.

Exclusive offers and discounts courtesy of The Perfume Shop, Dorothy Perkins, Millie’s Cookies and Quiz were also available on the day, including two £25 gift voucher giveaways from Quiz.
