ARTWORK by Blacon children is hanging in a county education centre.

Youngsters at Highfield Community Primary School visited Burwardsley Outdoor Education Centre last summer where they worked on a piece of art inspired by sculptor Andy Goldsworthy.

On their return to school, the youngsters completed the artwork with their class teacher.

Teachers at the centre were so impressed with the work that the youngsters made another piece especially for them.

Now in Year 4, the pupils invited Stella Spratley, from Burwardsley, to their school to present the finished article, which will be displayed at the centre.
