A CELEBRITY chef is hoping to open an outdoor dining area for race-goers to enjoy the summer sun.
As the summer months approach, Marco Pierre White, plans to unveil an outdoor cocktail and dining area, perfect for post-race drinks in the warm summer evenings.
The plans for The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar and Grill in Hoole include a 60 seater outdoor dining area and an adjoining cocktail bar.
Despite the credit crunch, the restaurant, which is part of the Doubletree by Hilton, Chester, has turned over more than £1m since it opened last February.
Star of Hell's Kitchen Marco said: “The response to my Chester restaurant has been great. Cheshire diners have really embraced the idea of affordable glamour.
“The Steakhouse, Bar and Grill is a place for everyone to enjoy. I'm thrilled that the establishment now sits alongside a handful of Chester's best restaurants and that it's here to stay.”
Jane Stoneman, food and beverage manager said: “As the summer months approach and Chester races commence, the outdoor dining area will be the perfect place for pre-race lunches and post-race drinks and dinner.”
