A car which hit a barrier near the Sainsbury's and Posthouse Roundabouts caused traffic congestion in Chester this evening (Thursday, January 7).
The incident, which happened on the A55 between junctions with the A483 and the A41 just after 4pm, is not believed to be serious and there are no reported injuries, but there has been heavy traffic in the area.
Police, ambulance and Cheshire Highways were all notified and the former were called to the scene.
However, police are now reporting the accident has been cleared and traffic is easing.
