There was slow traffic on Sealand Road near Chester after the road became partly blocked by a crash.

A motorcyclist reportedly fell from their bike at about 5.30pm on Thursday (July 21).

The accident happened across the Flintshire border in Sealand near to The Organic Store.

Queues built up in both directions heading into Chester and towards North Wales as commuters headed home at the end of the working day, but they had cleared by about 7pm.

Twitter users were quick to alert others to avoid the area if possible.

Flintshire County Council is exploring a “number of options” to further improve safety on the A548 Sealand Road, which last year had its speed limit slashed from 60-50mph.
