A Hammond School student has hit the top notes after gaining a place to further her music studies at the National Conservatoire of Wales.
Flautist Hannah Roberts will study a BMus (Hons) Performance course at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
The 19-year-old, of Hope, plays with The National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain and The Junior Royal Northern Symphony Orchestra.
