BLACON High School pupils ditched their usual timetable during a Respect Day.

Children from Years 7-10 developed their personal, social, and health skills with help from organisations and voluntary groups.

Maggie Eldridge, assistant headteacher, said: “We are very grateful organisations such as the Samaritans, Fairtrade, Aim Higher and the Armed Forces were able to come into school and support the development of pupils.

“We are also grateful our Healthy Schools programme was able to sponsor this event. These days are always looked forward to as exciting ways to develop education and meet new people from a variety of careers.”
