MORE than 80 golfers got into the swing of raising money for Claire House Children’s Hospice.
The event was organised by David and Pippa O’Brien whose daughter Libby was cared for at the hospice during her battle with a rare form of bone cancer.
Libby lost that fight last year aged just two.
The inaugural event which took place at Ellesmere Port Golf club, in Childer Thornton involved teams and individuals taking on the 18-hole challenge to win the Libby O’Brien Cup.
David and Pippa said they were delighted with the turn out.
They raised more than £4,500 for the hospice.
