Gladiator Caius, alias Lance Prince, was so keen to put on a good show at last weekend’s Roman Festival he broke his arm during a mock fight.

Gladiator Caius, alias Lance Prince, was so keen to put on a good show at last weekend’s Roman Festival he broke his arm during a mock fight.

But the dedicated historical reenactment specialist from Roman Tours carried on working and only discovered the fracture on Monday.
