Students at Neston High are celebrating after receiving a great set of examination results.

Headteacher Steve Dool commented: “More Neston High students than ever are achieving the highest grades in demanding academic subjects such as the sciences. Students and teachers should rightly be proud of these results.

“These wonderful results will empower our students to go on and study courses in the sixth form.

“We are proud of the achievements of all our young people and thank teachers for their dedication and commitment and thank parents for all their support.”

Top performers at Neston High this year include Matthew Donohue with 9A* and 1A, James Hemingway with 8A* and 2As and Leah Vining-Ledsham also with 8A* and 2As.

Other top performers include: Klaudia Barcik, Molly-Rose Bryson, Alexander Cooper, Megan Godfrey, Bethany Gould, Jack Healey, Gregory Jones, Jack Jones, Ellie Male, Laura Newport, Lauren Peers, Helen Rafferty, Lucas Saulnier, Molly Sharples, Olivia Smith and Shaun Smith-Milne.
