A slimming consultant is celebrating a great start to 2014.

Gaynor Budd, who runs four Slimming World groups every Wednesday at Hope Farm Community Centre in Great Sutton, has won a prestigious diamond award and is celebrating 20 years as a slimming expert.

Gaynor impressed comedian and TV personality Paddy McGuiness at the recent awards who learned of her commitment of 20 years helping people lose weight.

The diamond award, her latest, recognises fantastic weight loss achievement and member retention with members returning week after week and reaching their target weight.

Gaynor became a consultant in 1994.

She says she is still enjoying helping others achieve dreams, increasing her members’ self esteem, building confidence and improving their health too.

“I am proud of winning this latest award ‘diamond’ which I can add to all my other awards, which include national group of the year ‘three time winners’ gold awards, silver awards and the list goes on,” she said.
