Garden Quarter drugs raid leads to two arrests

Two men from Blacon were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs

A property in the Garden Quarter was raided by police on Friday (October 28).

Officers executed a warrant at the address on Garden Lane under the Misuse of Drugs Act shortly after 11am, and arrested two Blacon men aged 22 and 25 on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

A number of items were seized during a search of the property, including a quantity of what is thought to be cannabis.

A spokeswoman for Cheshire Constabulary said both men have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
