Members of an employment project that helps people with learning disabilities experience work have celebrated all things bicycle related.

The Bren Project set up a bicycle recycling and refurbishment project - called Bren's Bikes - to help people with learning disabilities and autism develop work-based skills led. They recently held a 'Big Bike Revival' at the New Scene Youth Centre in Newton, with a bike ride with accessible bikes.

Sheriff of Chester Alex Black and MP Chris Matheson supported the event and took part in a tandem bike ride together.

Bren Bikes offer a bike repair and maintenance service, as well as selling refurbished bikes to members of the public.
