Parents and staff at Little Overtons’ pre-school have gone the extra mile and raised almost £2,000 this year.

The cash was raised from a number of events held throughout the year which began in style with a lively band night at Frodsham Community Centre.

The hook-a-duck stall has been a popular fixture at all three annual school fairs as well as going ‘on the road’ at local events such as the Donkey Derby and Frodsham Festival in the Park.

The children have also joined in the fundraising singing beautifully at the Christmas carol concert and proudly parading their Easter bonnets at the spring fair.

Dedicated staff gave up their bank holiday and braved a 6am start to set up stall at a recent car boot sale, selling items donated by parents and children.

Little Overtons' Pre-School have had a successful year of fundraising

A ‘Bags2School’ collection for unwanted clothing and toys this month raised even more money.

Local businesses have also been supportive.

Howdens Joinery donated a brand new kitchen which has been put to great use cooking the children’s delicious culinary creations.

The pre-school offers care and education for children aged two-five years old and a toddler group for childrenup to aged five on Fridays between 9:15am-11:15am.
