A Frodsham toddler group is holding a good as new toy and clothes sale on Saturday, April 5 from 10am to noon in honour of two of its littlest members.

Frodsham Methodist Church tots group is giving some of the proceeds from the sale to the Countess of Chester Babygrow Appeal which is raising money to expand the neonatal unit at the hospital.

Twins Jessica and Joe Bullock had an early fight to survive when they were born 10 weeks early at the Countess of Chester Hospital in June 2013. They spent the first 12 weeks of their lives in the neonatal unit at the hospital.

Stacy Bullock, mum to Jessica and Joe, said: “I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Chester. They were all so brilliant with our babies. The unit is professional and vital but just not big enough. I am so chuffed that the money is going to go to a cause that is so close to my heart.”

Andrea Ellams, family support worker at Frodsham Methodist Church, said: “This is the second sale that we have held and last time we had loads of really good quality items all at really good prices. It’s a great opportunity to grab a bargain for your little one, while supporting a great cause.

“The sale needs both buyers and sellers to succeed so I would also urge those with good quality clothes and toys that you want to get rid of to use the sale. For each item sold the seller gets a percentage.”
