Two children have been left heartbroken by the disappearance of their two puppies.

The French Bulldog pups – seven-month-old Harley and five-month-old Dexter – went missing from a back garden in Boundary Lane, Saltney, whilst the family were out of the house.

The pups’ owner, Louise Wilson, said her children Josh and Lexi – have been left ‘completely devastated and in tears’ since the puppies disappeared.

Louise said: “I dreaded telling the children that Dexter and Harley were missing. They were absolutely devastated and cried and cried – Josh was even crying at school the next day.”

Louise says that they have spent hours looking for the pups and putting up posters.

She added: “Whenever we go anywhere in the car my daughter Lexi looks out the window and shouts for the puppies.

“She is always asking where her doggies are and when they are coming home and it just breaks my heart.”

Louise says that the family have been left further upset after spending hours, often in the pouring rain, putting up posters – only to find that the posters have been taken down almost as soon as they have gone up.

She said: “Not knowing what has happened to them or even if they are still together is awful. We just want them back home – no questions asked.”

The puppies went missing on October 16 at approximately 10am, they may not be together still.
