Staff at Chester eatery Urbano 32 got the shock of their lives when Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley popped in for lunch today (Wednesday).

The former Chelsea player and his TV presenter fiancee who were apparently in Chester for a spot of shopping, took a break from exploring the city streets to share some starters together at the pizza restaurant on Bridge Street.

Duty manager Claire Taylor said she had to do a double take when the couple, who have been engaged since 2011, walked in and ordered some food.

"I did have to look twice when they came in but they were so nice and really friendly. They ordered a couple of starters to share and were just like any other customers," she said."

And although Frank may be a millionaire these days, he showed he hasn't lost his down-to-earth attitude as he happily posed for a picture for the restaurant's Twitter page.

"I just went over to them and told them that the owner was a football fan and asked for a picture, which they were happy to do," added Claire. "They were both so lovely."
