Rupert Moon, former Wales international rugby union player, travelled to the Chester Christmas Market to collect a Man of the Match trophy ahead of a game against Llanharan.

The unusual, personalised jigsaw trophy was created by Yvie Johnson of Eden with Pencils.

She designs and creates the jigsaws which are tailored to each match and the opposing team from her studio in Denbigh.

Rupert Moon was born in England, but played club rugby for Welsh clubs Abertillery and Neath; he is, however, most associated with Llanelli.

He played international rugby for Wales, winning 24 caps.

He is currently manager of RGC 1404, Division One East Champions 2013.

The ex-Wales International star said: “Yvie has created something really unique for us and the team are proud to support a growing Welsh business like Eden with Pencils.

“I really enjoyed collecting the products in person from Yvie at her stall at the Chester Christmas Market.”

Eden with Pencils supply a vast amount of bespoke Welsh products.

Yvie said: “It was a pleasure to create the gifts for RGC 1404 and I was delighted that Rupert visited the stall at the Chester Christmas Market to collect them.”
