A CHESTER man has swapped steering wheels for turntables as he embarks on his full-time job as a self-employed mobile disco DJ.

Roy Williams started up Chester Disco in 2007 as a hobby while he worked as a bus driver.

But recently he left his job after eight-and-a-half years to take up running the mobile disco full time.

Roy said: “I do enjoy what I’m doing with this and always go the extra mile.

“Some DJs just set up the music for the evening and sit back while the music plays, but I like to dance and so stand up throughout the evening and get involved.”
