Foreign Office Minister Baroness Sayeeda Warsi has conducted a Q&A session with member’s of Blacon’s Mosque.

Baroness Warsi fielded questions on border control, Bangledesh, community cohesion and employment law from almost fifty members of the Shah Jalal Mosque on Clifton Drive.

The Minister had been invited to the Mosque by Chester MP Stephen Mosley.

Baroness Warsi said: “It was a wonderful, informative and a quite frank discussion. We covered many topics and I hope the advice and information I gave was as appreciated the opinion and views I learnt from the audience.”

Stephen Mosley MP added: “Here in Chester, we have vibrant and diverse communities who help make our city a fantastic place to live.

“I’d like to thank the Minister for taking time out to meet the Mosque’s elders. It was a great discussion and one I hope we can repeat.”
