PUPILS of Farndon Primary School have someone special to look after on weekends.
Coco the class teddy bear goes home with a child every Friday evening and comes back to school on Monday morning.
Teacher Abi Pomerantz said: “We picked up Coco from the Build-a-Bear Workshop when we were on a school trip to Chester. Coco is a chef!”
The next school trip is already planned, when Mrs Pomerantz, teaching assistant Melissa Edmond and class will visit Chirk Castle.
The four- and five-year- olds are involved with a dinosaur project and are thrilled to hear the dinosaurs are returning to Chester Zoo this year.
