Firefighters fought flames after a caravan was set on fire during a number of incidents across Cheshire overnight.

At just before midnight yesterday (Monday, October 28) crews were called to Marshall Lane in Northwich.

Two fire engines attended the blaze, which is thought to have been started deliberately.

And at midnight crews were called to Bradbury Road in Winsford following reports of a car on fire close to houses.

Firefighters used foam and a hose reel to extinguish the flames, and an environment pack was also used to prevent liquids from entering the drains.

Earlier in the evening, at around 9.12pm, a swing was set on fire during an alleged arson attack in a play area in Panton Road Chester.

And, at 5.52pm firefighters used hand held extinguishers to put out a small rubbish fire on Ladies Walk in Neston.
