HUNDREDS attended a festive weekend at Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre.

Father Christmas shared breakfast with youngsters during the special weekend and played games and activities.

There was also the chance to spend some time with the horses who are now housed indoors for the winter.

Janet King, who runs the Tarporley centre with her husband Alistair, said: “It was a fantastic weekend and great to see so many people enjoying the experience of spending time with our animals at such close quarters.

“We were blessed with perfect crisp winter weather and it was a wonderful way to start December and the countdown to Christmas.”

Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre is open to the public every day throughout Christmas and New Year, except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
