A THEATRE director is looking for mysterious men.
Peter Leslie Wild, artistic director of next year’s production of Chester Mystery Plays, has added an extra workshop following the success of two packed weekends of auditions.
He said: “The response was amazing.Š We saw so many brilliant people of all ages from as far away as Bootle, South Manchester and across the Welsh border.Š
“We couldn’t fit everyone in so we are going to hold another day of auditions on November 24.Š We have some places left that we are reserving for men, especially in the mid age range (25-45).”
Chairman Jo Sykes added: “All of the performers in the plays are drawn from the community. Anyone who wants to be involved can be, but this workshop really is the last chance for performers.
“Having first performed in the plays in the 60s I know what an incredible, life-changing experience it can be. ”
