AN EXTENSION was approved at a detached property set in a village conservation area.
The plans were submitted at Southridge, Barton Road, Farndon, by Mr and Mrs D Knight, who told planning officers at Cheshire West and Chester Council they were seeking approval for the single-storey new build at the rear of the property.
No objections were raised by Farndon Parish Council or by neighbours who were consulted.
The design would not detract from the overall character of the area, planners believed, and the extension would not have any unduly detrimental effect on the property or the surrounding area.
