A MAN was taken to hospital after a car crash in Broughton this morning (Monday).

Emergency services were called out after the collision at about 7.40am on Chester Road at the junction with Bretton Lane.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called to a road traffic collision on Chester Road, Broughton, at 7.41am.

“An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle attended the scene.

“Two male patients, both with minor injuries, were taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital for further treatment.”

A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue said firefighters were making the vehicles electrically safe.

She said three vehicles were involved.
