A 36-year-old man has been charged with drug offences after police executed drug warrants in Ellesmere Port last week.

Michael Robert Jones of Great Sutton was charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Jones, who appeared before West Cheshire Magistrates Court on Thursday, September 29.

His case was sent to Chester Crown Court where he will appear on Thursday, October 27.

Cheshire Task Force Officers were issued warrants to raid properties on Robinson Road, Phillips Lane, Parklands, St Caterings House and Meadow Lane, Ellesmere Port on Wednesday, September 28, as part of Operation Impact.

CC Auto Services on Meadow Lane Industrial Park, Ellesmere Port, has been closed as part of the investigation.

A 34-year-old man and two women, aged 30 and 45, have also been bailed until Wednesday, October 26 after being arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

A quantity of class A drugs and nine cars were seized during the raids.

On Friday, Ellesmere Port Police tweeted: “Local business closed in partnership with CWAC following Police investigation (GM).”

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “36-year-old Michael Robert Jones of Great Sutton, has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

“He appeared at West Cheshire Magistrates on Thursday [September 29].

“A 34-year-old man and two women, age 30 and 45, have both been bailed until October 26 pending further enquiries.”
