A drug dealer from Ellesmere Port hid cocaine in an ‘intimate area’ when her house was searched by police.

Diane Vaughan, 50, of Wilmslow Drive, also tried to conceal the Class A drug in her tights when her car was stopped.

She was jailed for five and a half years at Chester Crown Court on November 2.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “Diane Vaughan was a significant dealer of crack cocaine in the Ellesmere Port area and a well-known figure in the community.

“This substantial sentence sends out a message drug dealing will not be tolerated in Cheshire.”

Police used a search warrant at Vaughan’s former address in Sutton Way on July 2, 2014.
