A crash at a mini-roundabout in Ellesmere Port caused disruption earlier today (Thursday, September 8).

There was a minor collision at the junction of Stanney Lane and Underwood Drive, involving a burgundy Vauxhall Adam Glam and a blue Fiat Punto about 11.30am.

Police attended but were relieved to report a damage-only incident with no injuries and no ambulance required.

Stanney Lane was blocked for a short time but has now reopened. The accident caused delays for the number one Stagecoach bus service between Liverpool and Chester via Ellesmere Port.

But by 12.36pm the roundabout was clear. One of the vehicles had to be taken to a garage.
