For the 15th year a church helped children suffering from a nuclear disaster 30 years ago.

Seventeen youngsters and their two leaders from Chernobyl visited Little Sutton Methodist Church for lunch during a four week stay on the Wirral.

The children are said to benefit greatly from their visit and go home looking much healthier having enjoyed trips to various places including Blue Planet Aquarium.

With the help of Methodist Churches and friends on the Wirral the church raises money towards their air fares and visits and sends them home with everything from new clothing to toothpaste amongst many other gifts.
