Pupils and staff at Ellesmere Port Catholic High School had to be evacuated after a small chemical spillage this afternoon (June 16).
A woman was checked over by paramedics after complaining of itchy skin following the incident at the school on Capenhurst Lane, which was reported to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service 2.48pm.
A spokesman for the service said: "Firefighters attended the scene and liaised with staff on site.
"An ambulance was requested to attend after a woman complained of itchy skin. She was checked over and cleared by paramedics.
"The incident was handed over to the school to arrange a specialist company to clean up the area."
Two fire engines attended the scene.
