MARK Perry has been selected as the Wrexham Liberal Democrat candidate for the forthcoming Rossett and Burton by-election, called following the death of Cllr Robert Shepherd.
Mr Perry, 39, is well known in Rossett where he attended Darland School before going to Yale Sixth Form College and on to the University of Wales in Bangor.
Having gained a Bachelor of Education (Hons) he embarked upon a successful career in teaching specialising in primary and early years education.
He said: “I have a long association with the Rossett and Burton area going back to schooldays and it would be a great honour to represent the ward on Wrexham Council.”
