A baby white-faced saki monkey born at Chester Zoo at the end of 2013 is getting curious as it pokes its tiny head out from mum Tibiti’s fur.

The new addition is still too young for keepers to be able to tell whether it’s a boy or a girl, but once its sex is determined, a name will then be chosen.

The scientific name for the species is Pithecia pithecia .  Mum Tibiti is five-years-old as is dad Kwinti.
