A long-serving doctor at Tarporley Health Centre has retired after 30 years at the surgery.

Dr Robin Gleek joined the practice in 1984 as a locum GP to provide two weeks holiday cover and never left.

During the last 30 years, Dr Gleek has seen many changes in the role of the GP and the services delivered by general practice.

Dr Gleek has recorded some of his reflections of the last 30 years serving the community of Tarporley and surrounding villages in the health centre’s latest patient newsletter.

This can be found on the home page of the practice’s website at www.tarporley.doctors.gpsurgery.net or call in at the surgery to collect a copy.

The partners, patients and staff wish Dr Gleek a long and happy retirement.
